Welcome to Mrs. Shoffer's Webpage!
The end of the school year can be stressful. Students begin to worry about all kinds of issues: new teachers, missing friends, getting older, and maybe even changing schools. You can reassure your student that you will support them in their new adventures.
One way to make students more comfortable is to keep up with their skills. Visit the library and pick up some books to read together. Join the summer reading program! The whole family can join and earn fun prizes, even adults. Playing board games helps with math skills, reading and thinking. Write a family summer journal or scapbook all your summer adventures. Most importantly spend time talking about everything.
Have a great summer!
